Real review: The cyberspace levels, new characters and towers bring this series' most intricate and exciting challenges but it's all struck to ashes by the most baffling and reductive difficulty design and content bloat in maybe any game I've ever played, not even getting into the late-game sections that expect you to abuse untutorialized mechanics just to pass. Fucking psychotic thrill ride all-around, I hope they take the right lessons from people's reactions to this and it doesn't inadvertently make every Sonic an auto-scrolling pacifier for the next 10 years, again
