Impressive scope for its time but I think Squaresoft JRPGs play like dogshit and are a large contributor to so many non-JRPG ppl bouncing off the genre. I'm tired of feeling like I 'owe' something to this series idk lmao

Y'know, I disagree with this review on all counts
But at the same time
Feeling like you owe something to a series, especially one that over the years was made to appeal to as many people as possible, is truly an annoying feeling and the sheer amount of flack I received simply for not enjoying the FF games after 6 was legit kinda unreal. Life is too short to worry about playing games you don't like out of peer pressure or whatever, respect
