Another vertical improvement on cruis'n's formula, with better speed, more powerful art direction and better performance. Boosting into cars now gives you a time bonus and a flip, negating the prior two games' issue with unfair crashes. Feels really good. This game definitely leans a bit /too/ heavy into humor tho, as the track themes are way more fictitious and lose that feeling of congruence. The first two felt like an over-arching roadtrip that made all the locales feel neatly tied together.

The new UI also kinda blows, it has that stock metallic early-2000's look that all of Midway's racers were obsessed with.

Overall the best Cruis'n game of the OG trilogy for sure, it's a very campy but fun racer to play in short bursts.
