Good while it lasts but it's on the short side and feels cheap. Sound design is also kinda garbo, with a bad ost, mediocre sound effects and lots of compression. The pacing between short enemy waves and boss fights is good, and the majority of the boss fights (before stage 9) are really fun. In hindsight, this one's real rough, but I've replayed this one a LOT over the last two years, so there's gotta be something deeper pulling me in.
