This game is completely stunning - masterfully crafted. The game has total confidence in allowing you to experience every moment of this world, from the exhilarating to the serene and even mundane. It’s slow-paced as a result, but it’s as much of an experience as it is a game. Ultimately, the stagnating gameplay of the later acts wasn’t able to sustain the remaining 20-30 hours of gameplay, but I still had a fantastic time.

the amount of times I picked up and put down this game on pc, xbox and ps4 is wild. Maybe just didn't want it to end, but beating it I can certainly say, the weight of the world feels completely off my shoulders. And as many have said before me I'm sure, Arthur is one of, if not the greatest protagonist of all time.

If you asked me what the best game ever made was I'd have to think about it, but then i'd probably say Red Dead Redemption 2. One of the best written stories and characters I've seen in ANY medium let alone gaming and the game world is phenomenal, other open worlds wish they could be this.

Playing this game for the first time during the Covid lockdown really hit different and extra-hammered home that "the world is broken and everything around you is changing and falling apart but you gotta find meaning and hope in it all and save what you can anyway" vibe which is a major theme in the game, really added to it lol and was an experience I'm glad I had.

I truly unironically believe that this game and the first one will go down as this generation's Godfather movies and deservedly so.

"there aint no shame in looking for a better world" -Arthur Morgan

I cried in the end
And videos from the game still makes me emotional
Bought it for my father too, his turn to use napkins
