Paper Mario has always been Nintendo's most enigmatic francise, but it all began with this game! Snappy gameplay, simple yet in-depth mechanics, and a unique identifying art style are what make up this entry. Quite possibly the best aging Nintendo 64 game, Paper Mario manages to use it's simplistic art style to it's advantage. It doesn't push any limits in the hardware, and yet it doesn't have to. This ultimately helps the game come into it's own without feeling like a work of it's time. If I were to recommend one N64 game to anyone it would definitely be this one!
