Is this the best fighting game ever? It just might be, all things considered. This game addressed every single issue with not just SFV but the fighting game genre on the whole. So few games include modes and details on how to properly play the game. Street Fighter 6 is one of the most jam packed fighting games ever. The world tour mode not only teaches the player a lot about fundamentals through minigames and such, but also provides a genuinely fun single player adventure that isn't the bare minimum of copying MK9's story mode which so many games do.

As for the mechanics, they thought of everything to make this the most fun and exciting Street Fighter yet. The drive gauge acting as sort of a stamina meter tied to your drive abilities and EX moves, completely separate from your super meter, is damn genius. It abandons the question of do you save meter for a super and lets you use EX moves for bigger combos a whole lot more. The drive rush mechanic adds a TON of combo potential too. All that said, there is still risk/reward with when to use your meter. When you're out, you lose the drive parry, rush, and ODs. All of these mechanics work together in such a way that shows Capcom was clearly thinking about every single thing and how they interact.

For the first time ever, I actually got good at a fighting game. I'm at Platinum rank and I couldn't be happier about that. In V, I never got past Bronze.

This is the best fighting game. I feel confident in this opinion.
