I agree with that, I just think games like SCIV and Bloodlines are more fun. The directional whip makes them better and I love the atmosphere of those

SCIV's whip mechanics NEEDED to stay, I don't like when people complain that it makes the game too easy cause it really doesn't, it makes it more dynamic

I completely agree. Who cares about the difficulty that much, I honestly think IV overall is harder due to some later stage design. I like omnidirectional whipping cause I don't have to get to the same exact vertical height as the enemy just to kill them
