Straightforward linear platformer where you play as a tanuki in some sort of simulation, with stages made up of dream elements. Basic moves like a spin attack, double jump, and a triple jump if you chain them together. It's lacking in depth but the simplicity is also its strong point given its price.

While you never get any new moves or items, each themed staged has a gimmick instead, such as grind rails or timed platforms. You are encouraged to collect every collectable in a stage without dying to get an S rank.

Aside from the opening and the ending, there's no dialogue or cutscenes so you can just play whenever you want without any hassle. Also, there's two other characters after you beat the game with unique end stages if you want a reason to replay the game.
