Another fun iteration of a mega man game. All your usual variety of power-ups, brutal platforming and challenging bosses are all there. There are some new additions I really appreciate though. Beat was a great addition as part of Mega Man’s power-ups as it made the game a lot more playable while not turning things into an absolute cakewalk. What is most interesting is to see how these games get particularly more ambitious in the narrative side with this one in particular introducing the mystery of why Protoman is causing havoc. We know it's obviously not him, but the attempt at creating some mystery and suspense I very much appreciate as this plot thread makes the protoman reveal all the more epic. Great entry yet again, 7/10.
