Excellent platforming gameplay, a great visual style that evokes a nostalgic feeling, comfy music, what more could you ask for? I suppose my only issue would be that some doors are a massive pain to get to and some stages require using the rocket jump which is really tough to pull off. I also prefer Sayonara's allowing you to restart stages without any limits but Shun's lives and continues are generous enough.
