Probably my favorite game in the franchise.

Yakuza 7 is a refreshing game in the series. After playing 7 games with Kiryu as a main character, it's great to play as Ichiban. He does carry over the touch.

The story starts very simple and is very loosely connected to the rest of series, some previous arcs do get mentioned. The story is on par with 0 for me. The twists are so good. The ending scene got me crying and it actually still hits me.

Ichiban is so expressive with his emotions, I love him. Every character is just amazing, and you do not have any annoying or bad characters. Seeing returning characters is very exciting and I am glad they returned. Ichiban might have topped Kiryu for me.

Yokohama is quite big and very impressive. The prologue is set in Kamurocho but I am so glad we go to Yokohama. A lot of cool minigames and locations.

Turn-based combat? too good to be true. The combat is different but fun. You have a lot of different jobs that give you different weapons and skills. Glad it stays turnbased. Especially cause gear now matters. I do have to criticize that enviromental attacks straight up just don't work. I wish I could move around in combat.

Receive you remix is probably my favorite one now. The music is of course great again.

PLEASE PLAY THE BEST YAKUZA GAME!! PLEASE!!
