10/10. Dumping some thoughts here because I really want to write a full review but I don't know how to put it into words right now.

Absolutely phenomenal. Never before have I played a game which made me feel such strong emotions to bring me to tears multiple times yet I could not describe them. The mood of the game was so well executed and tonally balanced; one of profound sadness, yet neither overwhelming nor afraid to be humourous when the time is right. The soundtrack was perfectly complementary to the experience, from the intense battle themes to the serene area music.

Some of the smoothest action gameplay I've encountered, with the chip system making it all feel incredibly personalised.

The final main ending as a whole was so full of heart and love, and is one of the best uses of the videogame medium I've experienced; I doubt I'll forget it any time soon. To end a game so full of sadness on such a hopeful message of perseverance so naturally was an absolute treat to experience. I am a changed person after this, and it is entirely for the better.

Cannot wait to re-visit after I play Replicant and catch stuff that probably went over my head.
