I like Silent Hill 3 much more than the first two.
Locations in the first two games got boring really quickly, but they were much more interesting in this game, to the point where I wouldn't have minded if the whole game was just set in the mall.
Silent Hill 3 was also actually scary unlike 1 and the little I played of 2. Thanks in part to it's incredible sound design, where often times I couldn't tell if the noises were coming from the game or somewhere in my house.
Graphics are super good for a PS2 game and the combat is improved from the first two games.
Heather is also a much better protagonist than Harry and James.
