i managed to convince my brother to play this with me since I've never played any RE games past 4 but i almost wish i didn't. it took ages to complete in the few times we could get on a call and play and that length did nothing good for the game. at its best, it falls flat of reaching even the worst parts of re4 (there aren't many anyways) and it takes itself far too seriously to achieve the same perfect campy tone of that game. at it's worst its an absolutely tedious slog. I guess the best part of the game is the Jill boss fight since you can just keep failing it by beating the absolute shit out of her with CQC moves.
