coda's CS map is totally ordinary even by the standards of what weird teenage amateurs were doing at the time. I've never seen a work that professes to love games misunderstand/appropriate them to this degree

that is kinda the point lol
coda isn't a real person, the dev made him up and was using his simple/not understandable concepts as a tool to explore the idea of how people project their emotions and feelings and thoughts onto art and all the stuff that goes along with that
i don't know if i even like the game, but you like COMPLETELY missed the entire point of the game lol, and i dunno if you even finished it considering how you seem to just have no idea about the entire point of the game
