The multiplayer is the main reason why people rmmbr this game, and for good reason: Like Goldeneye and DOOM, Halo is the next evolution in the FPS genre with much better movement, vehicles, its own health mechanic, and so on.

The Single player campaign is good and decent...until the Flood are introduced, then the backhalf is either enemy swarms over and over or confusing repetitive level design that you can get lost in (and is reused in a later level!) But the Halo theme, especially when it plays in the finale, now that is the grandest moment in the genre.
