If you just want to know if you should play this or not: If you like Picross yes it's Picross. Story's okay to mediocre but it frames your Picross puzzles in some context. Just be warned you CAN miss some which means for completion you may need to play a case or two again.

Great concept but unfortunately they don't mesh them well enough, there are a lot of cases where the story pacing gets ruined by a flood of Picross puzzles and there is never any tension to any of them (so take your time and make all the mistakes you want) which in the climax there should at least be a little.

The characters are okay and pride representation is all well and good but the gay guy had next to no personality beyond being the flaming gay guy and that's pretty bad that I can't even remember his name. Becky looks to be a main character but fades away after case 2 for some reason. Cases are predictable but are fine if executed well which is mixed.

Eirin is the single best character in this though idk there's something I like about her and she's a side character in one case.
