Oh fucking hell there's another one of these? I guess one massive turd wasn't good enough, huh? No it must've made money so you know what that means? We gotta shit out a fucking sequel. Well, maybe it polished the pile of shit that was the previous fucking game, so let's take a look at the diarrhea the devs have in store today.

It's better in some regards and worse in others. While there are less themes overall at least there aren't any redundant pairs this time, and some levels get to go into specific game parodies, I was surprised to find a VVVVV level where the core mechanics change to match that game, was a good chuckle. None that match the comedy of the Adult Atari game level from the first game, but it comes close. Difficulty is also tamer this time around too, and upgrading the Nerd encourages exploration. I wouldn't say it's a drastic improvement over 1, but absolutely an improvement.
