Kyoko is barely in this game which means it's twice as good.
(everything gameplay related is the same read the Cyber Sleuth review for that. Farm's still busted of course.)
But really, the more personal story with hackers is nice. Chitose, Ryuji, and Erika never hit the peaks Nokia does and she isn't as annoying as Arata or Kyoko so I much prefer Hudie. Yu's alright and the most gay I've seen someone who's totally not gay and it's fun to bully him. That said the story tries to have darker plot elements but it still has the lack of commitment to anything anime tone that prevents it from filling it out. One side story in particular was especially fucked with it showing a classroom murder a teacher and then throw bodies off the roof...but it's okay and the students all befriend the guy who threw their bodies off roofs! :D It's just very tone deaf. At least the important side quests are put in their own section this time so I'm not left guessing.

That said, the better paced story makes this the much better experience of the two, it's just a shame this game just assumes you've already played Cyber Sleuth so I can't tell people to just play this one.
