The game that started Metal Gear, with emerging from the water, using the nikata to beat everything, turn off the game console, and all. The game's more interesting as a historical bit of Metal Gear history than as a game itself, but outside the clunky stealth/shooting/poorly designed pitfalls and anti climactic bosses, it's an entertaining romp. Feels stealthy and learning the buildings is satisfying. Music adds to the mood excellently.

Kinda wish it was a better game though, but there are worse games from 1987 that debuted a bandana guy that later grew a beard that later got into Smash Bros as a guest character so Metal Gear is fine in my book.
