This game is half detective visual novel, half picross puzzles. If it sounds hard to merge those elements into a cohesive whole, that's because apparently it is. In effect the game becomes a particularly blandly written Ace Attorney investigation phase but every time a clue is introduced the story halts to provide a puzzle.

I enjoyed the game because I like picross, and I didn't mind sitting through the story to get to those puzzles. If your interests are the other way around, I can't recommend it.
