The best levels in the trilogy. Dubai was a great starting point that was rather simple but still enjoyable, but the triple threat of Dartmoor, Berlin, and Chongqing is hard to beat as they are all my favorite levels of the trilogy by far. Dartmoor’s best mission story is a moody murder mystery where you are the detective trying to figure out whodunnit, Berlin is an incredibly atmospheric and tense game of cat and mouse where you’re the mouse, being hunted by targets you don’t know and have to find yourself, and Chongqing is a almost cyberpunk noir that has you walking through the neon soaked streets of China that ends with an impactful story moment that I won’t spoil. Mendoza was alright and while not as good as the previous three was still a nice final “real” map for the series. I can see why people wouldn’t like the final map but honestly I really loved it. The train gives a nice if simple stealth puzzle that felt really satisfying to solve.

The story was really great in this and honestly I’m glad IO is taking a break from Hitman because this really does feel like the perfect end to the series and 47 as a character and I can definitely see the series return being a reboot. I’m so excited to see what they do with Bond, I can’t think of a studio better equipped to handle that license.
