Genuinely one of my favorite games ever. It has a vibe to it that few games have ever matched and is just a pleasure to play. The sharks can go fuck themselves tho.

I have a lot of fond memories of this game but I have no clue if it's any good or not.

This game had a lot to live up to sharing a name with the most iconic game in the series and I think it almost gets there? At least in terms of the campaign. The story is full of plotholes and you can smell the US military boot on their breath as they're telling it to you, but the characters are fun, and the gameplay in the campaign is stellar. It has some of my favorite missions in the entire series, like Alone, a mission where you're alone and injured in a town full of people trying to kill you as you're sneaking around and scrounging for supplies just trying to survive, or Recon By Fire, a mission that starts as an homage to All Ghillied Up from COD4, and goes into being an open ended sandbox where you have to clear out a few buildings taking out people in one of a few different ways, with a surprising amount of freedom.

I have problems with the multiplayer, mostly relating to progression, but just as a game to play it is really great. The guns feel great and you have tons of customization to make them feel exactly how you want them to. The progression sucks though. I hate having to use weapons I don't want to just to unlock the guns I do want to. Just let me level up a little bit and get my MP5 goddammit don't make me use this battle rifle to then unlock this assault rifle to finally unlock the smg. Other than that I really love it, it's the best one since the last Modern Warfare.

I haven't touched Spec Ops yet so I won't comment on that, but I HAVE played a bunch of Warzone and a bit of DMZ and both are a whole lot of fun. Warzone is a very fun battle royale, mostly because it's built on this game's already incredible gunplay. Nothing gets my heart pounding like being in the last few players, other battle royales don't give me that feeling anymore but I just have a lot of fun with Warzone so I get more invested in the matches.

DMZ from what I've heard is basically just Escape From Tarkov. Now I haven't played Tarkov, but I'm starting to think I might need to. This mode is a lot of fun. I haven't played much of it mostly because it requires a team, but if I had one I would be playing much more of it.

Overall, I think this game is great. It's one of the best CODs in years, but also has some incredibly stupid shit in it. All of my complaints with the campaign can be easily summed up with this. They put No Russian in the after credits scene and just made it 9/11-2. What the fuck were they thinking?

Visceral combat mixed with well told story that has the makings of a 5 star game in it but it has enough places where it doesn't hit the mark that bring it down.

This is a really gorgeous game that has a story that made me tear up a little bit. The gameplay is just doing really simple puzzles but somehow the platforming still manages to be a little unresponsive. It’s only maybe two hours long so it’s easy to recommend.

A lot of seventh gen games don’t hold up at all visually and this isn’t an exception. It looks and runs like total ass. But its still really fun to play. It’s one of the better superhero games out there. This story is kinda rough though and the ending is just…? It just reveals its big twist and then credits they don’t do anything with it.

Insanely well written game that's sadly marred by some terrible bugs.

The vibes of this game are immaculate. The music is just as good as R4 and the visuals are great. Too bad the racing doesn’t live up to it. It can be pretty fun, but it’s floatier than it should be and there are enough of the vehicles that feel bad that some races can be a drag. The second to last race is probably the worst in the game. There also aren’t nearly enough tracks. There are only four tracks that are repeated constantly, only occasionally broken up with the two rally tracks or the one drag strip. It just needed more variety. The story itself was… fine I guess? It was pretty nothing and almost entirely there to shove some titties in the screen but it didn’t upset me or anything so whatever.

I’m starting to think I was a little too harsh on this game before. Yes Classic Sonic is still terrible and yes it could stand to be a bit longer, but honestly going back to it, it’s just kinda delightful. The soundtrack is killer and the modern/avatar levels are actually pretty fun! This is the first time Sonic has actually acted like himself since Black Knight and despite not being the best written it’s a fairly competent Sonic story that actually makes Eggman seem threatening again.

A mostly pleasant experience. People who say Sonic had a rough transition to 3D just hate having fun. Also the Big hate is a little much guys, he just wants to fish and get his buddy back leave him alone :(

Egg Viper can eat my entire ass I clipped through the ground so many times in that fight and when it wasn't me it was my rings.

Really fun racing game that kicked off a great series.

Weird sequel that has some major problems but also has some really cool moments that make it worth seeing through.

I’ve always been a defender of Uncharted 3 but now that I’ve replayed it I don’t know what the hell I was on. The story isn't good, the entire middle section of the game was a slog, and it’s a lot jankier than 2. I still think the gunplay is better than 2 and I like Nate and Sully’s relationship, but that isn’t enough. The set pieces are pretty cool, but there’s barely anything connecting most of them.

I really love Bugsnax. This expansion is just more Bugsnax and that’s all I could have asked for. The only negative I really have is the length. I also softlocked the final boss really easily.
