Hey there! Welcome to my backloggd page! Here I will be giving a quick overview to video game titles based on their achievements, how hard they are to earn, how much I enjoyed earning them, and a difficulty ranking so you know if its a good game for you to take on yourself.

Please note that all achievements on my page were played on steam(PC) and evaluations will be made on those alone, and not console editions.

The Whispered World summary and achievement breakdown:

The Whispered World is a wonderful point click adventure game by Daedalic Entertainment. Filled to the brim with dry humor, sarcastic dialogue, and bizzare puzzle solving mechanics. The overall game was fun to play, and a good casual game to achievement hunt for.

Total Achievements: 20.
Time played: 9 Hours.
Achievement difficulty: Casual.
Missable achievements: Yes.
Total necessary playthroughs: 1-2.
Overall enjoyment: 5/5.
Satisfaction from achievement hunting: 4/5

Achievement hunting in The Whispered World is a pretty casual experience, that mostly relies on the players wit to achieve. However there are a number of achievements that
are missable, and without proper knowledge can lead to multiple playthroughs and overall frustration. Most of this knowledge can be gained by either playing the game twice, or doing your research on the meaning of each achievement before starting your own playthrough. Be cautious however, because there are spoilers to the story hidden in the achievements.

Nearly half of the achievements can be earned just by playing the game through to the end, and the rest thankfully aren't too difficult to earn depending on your own wit. I would say I really only struggled with one achievement throughout the entire game, and that was due to a random technical glitch.

So depending on your willingness to research the achievements, or your willingness to play the relatively short game twice, I would highly recommend achievement hunting to anyone who is interested in The Whispered World. it was a charming adventure with a twist of an ending, and one I am overall very fond of.
