Clings to some archaic design choices and adds a few gimmicky areas just to show what the SNES is capable of doing which IMO drags it down to just being a good game rather than a great one.
Still, being able to whip in 8 directions is cool, the graphics and soundtrack are pretty good, and the bosses felt fun.
