Sea of Stars is a brilliant game that I am incredibly impressed with! The combat is incredibly fun and fluid, the visuals and music are really beautiful, the story is consistently engaging with tons of fun ties to their last game, The Messenger, the difficulty balancing is satisfyingly challenging while not being too frustrating, and it has some of my favorite bosses and setpiece moments from an RPG this year!

If there's anything I could potentially criticize is that it has a fairly slow start and some of the customization may seem a little.. limiting, but by all accounts this is one of the best RPGs of the year and it cements this as an incredibly talented and varied studio that I'm incredibly excited for whatever they'll be making next!
