I have no opinions on this game's relations to previous entries as I have not played those, but WOW. WHAT A GAME TO START WITH.

This game is so fun, has a great story, looks beautiful, and is actually a pretty decent challenge! The game isn't incredible and there are certain sequences that I didn't really like and some character designs that are kinda ass, but those are pretty minor complaints for what is otherwise a really solid JRPG that makes me want to try out the other games in this series!
