Path of Radiance has one of the most captivating plots in the entire series.
Ike is also one of the best FE protagonists, in my opinion. The fact that he isn't of royal blood, and that he doesn't know much about the world outside of his home nation of Crimea, makes him more relatable than most FE-lords and protags without having the need to give him amnesia or something.

Coming to this after only having played the 3DS games and finding out that Fire Emblem games can have more than only Rout the Enemy objectives was a real eye-opener as well. For example, there is a stealth mission which gives you the choice of either brute forcing your way through, or sneaking by unnoticed, which earns you some bonus EXP as compensation. My absolute favorite map in the entire game is the one where the enemy are using innocent, unarmed priests as meat shields. You can easily kill the priests in cold blood in order to reach the enemy, but the game rewards you with bonus EXP and items based on the amount of priests that are still alive at the end of the chapter.

The interesting map objectives and the plot makes this game truly shine, and this is so far my favorite Fire Emblem game.

This remake does almost everything right.
The maps in the original weren't great supposedly, and this remake doesn't do anything to fix this.
Everything else about this game is more or less stellar however.
Great art direction, fantastic music, and lovable characters. The new characters made for this remake fit in perfectly, and the old ones are given so much personality.
It's different from other FE-games in some ways, but this is definitely one of the must-plays.

Fates nails the mechanics first introduced in FE Awakening.
I love that enemies can pair up too, and that blocking isn't determined by random chance.
However, I really disliked the characters and plot in this game. I won't revisit this game anytime soon.

I've only played through the Blue Lions route so far, but I adore what little I've experienced of this massive game.
This game does what Fates should have done, by including every route in the base game.
The latter halves of the routes seem to differentiate quite a bit, which is great.
The new re-classing mechanic is a bit confusing at first, especially if you're new to the series, but looking up guides helps a lot.
The only piece of criticism I can give is that this game looks extremely ugly.
It's usually fine during battles, but I honestly feel that Shadows of Valentia looked better somehow.
The support conversations are the biggest offender, though. The backgrounds look awful, and the character models don't look great up close. Kind of wish they'd stick with the 2D portraits that previous games utilized.

One of the weaker Warriors-crossovers.
It does do a good job blending the Warriors, and the FE mechanics together, but the character variety really brings the whole experience down.
Too many sword fighters, and not as much representation of the FE-series as a whole, unlike Hyrule Warriors, which both had a few original characters, and characters from almost every game in the Zelda-series.
An okay game, but could've been much better at celebrating the FE-series as a whole.

Great game to for those looking to get into the series, as it isn't too hard or expensive to find. Lacks variation in its story chapters however, since most if not all maps have the "Route the enemy" objective. The story is somewhat basic, but the character interactions really make up for it.
