This is really difficult to really think out since I come to these games for different things... But whatever, list it is.

Insane amounts of content due to having over 20 short campaigns, a huge amount of different Puyo Puyo playstyles that make the game full of variety and creativity, and it's just all of what I would want from a Puyo game. :)

Solid traditional story mode, Tetris makes it so that there's two fun puzzle games to hop between, and a solid variety of modes that make this such a great party game (even if I mainly stick to versus, swaps, and fusion).

This is just as derivative as Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is but I like the characters/story a lot more and there's much more content. Cooler game.

I'm conflicted about this game. It's prettier and has slightly more stuff than Tetris 1 so I'm always gonna come back to it first, but there isn't really much special that's new here to make it worthwhile over the 1st and I definitely enjoyed the first game's campaign much more even if this one has more content. Still though, it's Puyo Puyo Tetris with Lidelle in it, so I can't be too upset.

A decent amount of content, a fun short campaign you can easily run through while still being replayable, nice art, great manzai scenes, great music, and is the basis for the amazing gameplay the series would adopt. Really it's just the lower amount of content and weird color RNG that holds this one back for me.

By far the best alternate gameplay style we've ever gotten is introduced here, and the new characters are fun even if they aren't at their best in this game. Also where we first saw the origins of the modern artstyle we all know and love.

The amount of content and variety in gameplay styles is fun but nothing about this one makes me wanna go back to it that much.

The vibes are immaculate but the Sun playstyle is just alright at best and the AI in the story mode is complete garbage.

I mean... It's just a $5 game for multiplayer. It works for that I guess, but my lord the roster is hot trash.

All the modes from 20th Anniversary being here is nice, but this game's main draw is its RPG mode. Said mode is... Fine. If anything it's a bit dull. The dungeons aren't very interesting and the NPCs and such definitely aren't. The gameplay works fine but if you're half-decent at Puyo you're gonna blow through most fights in this game. I like the 3D graphics at least.

A game really reeks of a lack of confidence when its story is unable to commit to its big fancy new gameplay style or its new cast of... 4 characters. Did we really need another (sort of) reboot anyway? The Fever storyline was just starting to get interesting and it pretty much died probably due to this game. 20th Anniversary practically makes this game irrelevant in my eyes.

Low on content and replayibility and the dated mechanics of Puyo Puyo 1 make it hard to come back to, even if it still has loads of charm.

Incredibly slow gameplay, poorly thought-out and unbalanced special moves, a disappointing story, and annoying level gimmicks. Nice art though. :)
