I found my self conflicted once or twice during this game as I felt there were a few too many open world activities that were slowing down the pace. There were also story moments at the end that felt too confusing and convoluted where they just needed to just explain what was happening.

Two minor gripes in a game that is overall stellar, from combat to most of the side content (minus some stuff being drawn out) to story and beautiful visuals. This game is bigger and better than the first part of the remake and has me excited for the 3rd entry. For sure a Game of the Year Contender and probably a frontrunner too.

Extra points for killer music and wonderful characters too.

EDIT: having thought on this, I’ve reached the conclusion that despite a few smaller things I didn’t mesh wish. I have to give this a 5 out of 5.
