I got to applaud this game for having a concept that it really pulls through all the way to its finale.
True coop campaign experiences in local or online have sadly become scarce and not as common as in the past.
This game tackles this development and makes it the sole point of the gameplay, story and also distribution since only one person needs to buy the game.
As much as i love how much both players can do in A Way Out wether it is mini-games, interactables with different outcomes and dialogue and big story decisions ... the game is good at best in all the other departments.
At the end of the day it still is not a triple-A third person shooter but rather a passionate more streamlined project.
But for what A Way Out is, it really is a thrilling ride that really flourishes as a coop experience!
