Tears of the Kingdom is better in every way imaginable to it's predecessor, but I like it less. I don't think setting the game in the same world was a good choice. Probably a necessary one, but it makes it feel like more of a big expansion rather than a real sequel. Not enough has changed for it to feel like a new adventure. What you're able to do in this game is super impressive. I had a grand ol' time with it, but in the back of my mind I couldn't shake the thought of "been there done that". If I had never played BOTW this game would have melted my mind. But I have. My brain tells me this game is incredible, but my heart tells me that it's still pretty good LOL. I'm a bit underwhelmed but more BOTW is not a bad thing lmao.
