The Switch version of the game is not in good shape. I had numerous crashes and game freezes, slowdown (especially after saving), and long load times that really hampered the experience. Still a great game, but really needed some extra love on the Switch. Which it will probably never get. If you only have a Switch to play games on, you'll still get an outstanding experience, as the story and character interactions still shine through all the bugs.

If ZA/UM does make the fixes to these issues, then I can re-evaluate this, but with the turbulent state of the company, we may not see the fixes for this version.

There are two places where the game can just freeze: The conversation with Measurehead and the smoker while he's on the balcony during your first conversation with him. Turn off the voiced dialogue, and you should be able to progress.
