+ Combat is fluid and engaging.
+ Vocations are varied and fun.
+ Landscapes and world design are very interesting.
+ Tons of armor and weapon variety.
+ Art design is impeccable.
+ Monster behaviors are really cool with some awesome mechanics.
+ Pawn AI is really impressive. I love that pawn experiences from other players are brought over to others' games.

- Low enemy variety
- Very high enemy density coupled with very limited fast travel options until endgame make exploring wear thin, becoming more frustrating than fun.
- Story is all over the place. No plotlines get any semblance of payoff. Most are abandoned as soon as they get intriguing. Frankly I just think this was just unfinished and rushed out the door.
- Many offensive spells are missing from the first game and the new ones feel underwhelming in comparison.
- Abhorrent performance on PC at launch.
- No new game feature at launch.
- I dislike the dragonsplague mechanic. Though subjective, I don't appreciate being forced to interact with the pawn system in the certain intended way due to said mechanic. I dislike having to murder my main pawn to clense them upon suspicion of being infected.
