Arkham Origins received lukewarm reviews and was not the best-received game by fans in the series. However, I had a great time with the game and enjoyed some of the bosses and the writing. To be fair, this game doesn't introduce anything new when compared to Arkham Asylum (the first in the series, freeflow combat system) or Arkham City (open world setting) but everything it does, it does it in a good/safe approach way that makes up for a solid experience.

The contrast of the Christmas colors/lights with the gothic look of the City was a nice contrast that reminded me of Batman Returns, a personal favorite of mine.
