One of the most addicting games I've played. This was my introduction to the CM/Football Manager games and I was completely hooked by the managerial aspect of the game despite some of the shortcomings (even at the time) of this game such as the extremely basic pegboard display of the matches. A lot of improvements have been made over the course of the years through the Football Manager franchise but this stands out as perhaps the best CM game and at the time it was a really fun experience.
