El Shaddai is one of the most unique games I've played of its generation. Admittedly, the game is not the best in terms of gameplay and platforming but it truly makes everything up in the presentation department with a wonderful art direction that creates one of the best visual experiences you will find in gaming.

The story, while confusing and abstract, is interesting and has influences in biblical verses, and ultimately relating to the power of God and faith.

At the very least, this game should be tried by gamers looking for a unique experience and see if it sticks.
