Arkham City is the highly awaited sequel to Asylum in which RockSteady cranked everything to the max by providing an open-world setting and more content than ever before.
The same freeflow combat system (one of the best in gaming) is kept with the addition of some new moves and skills as well as stealth sections. With the new open-world setting there are more side quests and collectibles than ever before to extend the gameplay time and add more variety. Not everything is perfect, there are some minor annoyances brought by the open world setting such as helping citizens from criminals which become very redundant as you play the game.
The Wii U version of this game has all the DLC content plus some nifty uses of the Wii U gamepad to quickly select gadgets and perform investigations.
