RE6 is easily the weakest mainline entry released thus far in the Resident Evil series. It is also the most ambitious game in the series in terms of offering different campaigns with different pair of characters (allowing you to play online coop with a friend) and story-wise the game takes the virus outbreak to a world-scale level. This all sounds good on paper but the execution did not impress many since most missions had average design with action sequences of moving from point A to point B while solving uninspiring puzzles along the way and horrendous QTEs thrown in the mix.

As a RE fan I personally hated the grand scale of the events in the story...I know it's a videogame but I feel like a lot of the good value of the RE story was cheesed up to the umpteenth level in this game. There are some interesting parts in the game such as Leon's campaign being the highlight and perhaps the most "RE" like section but the rest of the campaigns are littered with poor design choices and other minor annoyances.
