I really enjoyed my time with Golden Abyss despite being perhaps the most constrained Uncharted game in the main line series due to the PlayStation Vita hardware.

Strictly speaking and evaluating this game based on being a Vita game, this is one of the best looking games and best tech/graphical showcase for the system. The vistas in this game are wonderful and I had to stop the game at certain locations just to admire the sceneries and how well the Vita handled these sections.

This is yet another Nathan Drake adventure, the story doesn't really stick out too much but it's interesting since it predates other games in the series. Gameplay is "more of the same" with 3rd person action, cover-based shooting mechanics, platforming sequences, etc. With that being said, I felt the gunplay in this game was very good, perhaps because the enemies did not feel as 'spongy' as Uncharted 2 or 3; perhaps the fact that this was developed by a different studio (Bend) had something to do in that regard.
