It's a basic runner shmup game with an ugly presentation and graphics done on purpose to convey the cheesiness of the game and its soviet influences.

This game can be purchased for well under a dollar when it's on sale, and for that price is well worth trying it out for the laughs although I have to say I wish the game was a bit more polished in its navigation gameplay (i.e. avoid powerups going into walls) but I guess that's part of the "raw and cheap" feel the developer went for.
