I loved Dead Space 1 but this is sooooooooo much better. While yes it's not as horror focused as DS1 I feel it reaches a higher point with better controls, more enemies, the game gives me more of a reason to use other weapons, Isaac now talks making him a much more interesting protagonist, everything this game does right it does it fantastically. I legit have no problems with this game at all.
