Ever since Until Dawn was a pretty huge success I think Supermassive has been trying to recapture the same aura that game had. Like all of their other games have the same beats and pretty much the same writing but none of them were as griping I guess. So Supermassive just threw their hands up and said 'fuck it' and basically remade Until Dawn but instead of an isolated mansion in the middle of the mountain it's an isolated camp in the middle of the woods, it has the same characters, the same looking monster, and pretty much the same plot beats as well. Only this time with the help of 2K money they could hire more than one popular horror actor; although Lance Henriksen will pretty much take anything at this point so it's not really a matter of money and more so time.

As a whole the game is fine I guess. I don't think it's as good as Until Dawn and at times I think it's too derivative of what that game did. the only thing that helps this game stand out more is the mocap which does look better, and the high-profile actors. I'm guessing it's great streamer bate but I don't see myself ever replaying the game, regardless of it's 184 different endings, fuck that.
