This was a fun game to come back to. Luigi's Mansion was a launch title instead of a main Mario game. I understand how some people couldn't get into this, but please do so! The controls feel stiff at times, but it doesn't take too long to master it. The boss ghosts are great at fighting and figuring out their weakness. Moreover, if you are better at sucking up ghosts, you can get more money from the boss ghosts.

The Boos are probably the weakest part of the game. Once you can capture all 50 ghosts, you can go to lit-up areas to catch them. The annoying thing is that if you barely get any damage on it, it will escape to another room, sometimes even a room you haven't cleared yet. I was lucky enough to finish my hunt in the endgame with weaker Boos, but you could be roaming the halls for the last one if you aren't careful.

The main bosses are a great challenge, too. Big Baby is a good warmup, while The Specter was an excellent next step in that challenge. I did not like the 20 Boo boss because it was tedious to freeze each Boo. The final boss, King Boo, was a great challenge. Pro tip, when you suck up King Boo, get your Poltergust 3000 ready when he flies out, then walk in circles while sucking to avoid Bowser's ice attacks.

For my final rank, I got a C Rank with 67,735,000G. Even with the golden crystal I got from getting all 50 Boos, I did not get an A or even B Rank. Maybe I get more money from a replayed save file?
