Cocoon is astonishing. It's just a wonderful game with mesmerizing visuals, music and sound design. Puzzles get gradually more difficult, just like a crescendo that leads to an explosion. Sometimes they are pretty straight forward, boss battles as well. Sometimes, especially during the last hour, they make you feel stupid at first and then a genius.

Balanced, beautiful to see, minimalistic. To me, Cocoon has everything I wanted from a puzzle game. Definitely one of the best games of 2023, which overall has proven to be a fantastic year for gamers.
