So, compared to every other Yakuza game ive played so far, I was aware going into this that this was never gonna really hold up to the likes of 0 and Kiwami 1 and 2. But that being said, its not bad I had my fair share of fun with it. Like every Yakuza game, the story is always quite good and engaging. And some of the sub storys were quite good two, I loved the substory where its basically a murder mystery and a few of the others were really wacky hehe. The new little mini games were pretty cool two like the running sequences and the IF7 stuff was really unique and challenging (Though im not a fan of timers). I quite like the new beachy area as well, it was a nice breath of fresh air compared to being around Kamaracho or Sotenbori all the time.

That being said though, the fighting mechanics arent as great as the other games, there not the worst in the world but sometimes its quite tedious especially when you get to some of the boss fights who nonestop block everything or just bullshit through your attacks. It was a good journey through everything though, and that Amon fight was sweat worthy, I was very satisfied by the end in beating him. Surprisingly easier then Kiwami but great none the less.

Overall, this games pretty fun and its still a Yakuza game even if it isnt as fleshed out as future installments so I had a great time playing it.
