Animal Well is a finely crafted puzzle box of a game where everything links together perfectly. Every new discovery feels like a huge accomplishment and figuring out how to traverse the world and beat the initial main story of animal well was one of the purest joys I've had in playing a game in a long time.
This game is also Tunic. The moment I got out a pen and paper to start taking notes for the more obscure puzzles I knew this was my kind of game. I love this shit. I got as far as I could in the endgame puzzles before consulting the discord for the most obtuse solutions and that was also one of the most fun community experiences I've ever had. The last big secret has been discovered and now my brain can rest. I've thought about little else in the past 72 hours.
