This game, while extremely simple at its core, is just downright fun to play. Of course, being an N64 game means that it is lighter on content, but the quality of the content still shines through.
This is a board game, where each player needs to get the most stars by the end of the final round, and after every round, you are given a minigame to play. My biggest complaint comes from the balance of these minigames. Most of them feel like it is heavily weighted toward certain players (mainly in 1 vs. 3 games or 2 vs. 2 games), and some games are just straight-up luck-based.
Also, this is a multiplayer game so some of the enjoyment is lost for anyone who plays by themselves. Despite that, this is still a great, casual multiplayer experience that I can recommend to anyone. There are so many in this franchise, but this one is still very worth your time.
