I was pleasantly surprised with Armored Core 6 in a lot of ways. I like how the story is presented, through debriefs and combat dialogue but sometimes combat ends too fast so their dialogue isn't exhausted. Lots of ways to build your AC which led to a lot of variations in how I played before I settled into something. Don't have much to say about the music, it was good but I couldn't tell you what really stood out.
My issue but also my greatest pleasure with AC6 is that melee and assault boosting is so unbelievably GOOD. It's so good that it often completely trivializes some boss fights. Any AC is absolutely creamed by the pilebunker and bosses are no different. It made it fun but also ruined some pivotal moments.
